can Apollo Server handle a promise in the context

does Apollo Server support a promise in the context new ApolloServer({ typeDefs, resolvers, context: await getContext }); The reason why getContext is a promise because Im setting the db context as its calls few services to do there that has promises. any thoughts ?

Super-lazy resolvers and null bubble-up best practices?

I'm playing around with making my resolvers super lazy to minimize over-fetching. I have per-field resolvers so only the requested fields are ever loaded etc. I'm finding that this pattern leads me to often return an { id: "whatever" } for objects which may not exist, and it's鈥

Developing a CustomRESTDatasource for Apollo

Hi we are looking for somebody who can help build a custom datasource for Apollo based on our platforms existing REST API. Is there anybody here in the community that would be interested in helping. This work will be paid for but contributed back to the OSS communities.

Not sure if the best channel to ask.. But we accidentally deleted the schema graph via Apollo Studio UI which is related to our production environment. It鈥檚 not gone, requests are working, but hidden form UI. 鈥

Apollo Server number of CPU

Hi everyone! I am a FullStack Developer and I am now exploring Apollo. If I run a node server with ApolloServer connected to my Mongo instance (through Mongoose), that server will act in the middle of the frontend and mongo database. Will it be running with all my CPU nodes?鈥

Mixing SDL with code-first

Not sure what channel this belongs in. Graphql-tools? Anyway... I'm generating a graphql schema dynamically. This is a weird case where the queries and mutations do not change, but the fields of the types do. It would be easier to maintain if I could write the queries/mutations鈥
