Is this a good place to share bugs and get support around the Aragon CLI?

And if not, where would be the best place for that?

Hi, I've been trying to follow https://hack.aragon.org/docs/guides-use-agent but when I use the command dao install <your organization name> agent --environment aragon:rinkeby --ipfs-rpc https://ipfs.eth.aragon.network/ipfs/ It gives me error: "Cannot find transaction path for executing action" I have spent so much time on this error and everything seems to be correct but I still get this error.
After repeating the command multiple times (without changing anything) the command worked. But now I am trying to test in on devchain and I receive the same error. How can I debug this issue?

Hi Amir, thanks for reporting this. Sorry for the trouble, this is indeed a bug that has been submitted to us last week and we hope to get fixed this week. You can follow our progress on the Github issue and I will also post an update in this thread.

Related with that, when I install an app in mainnet i obtain error the gas required exceeds allowance (9980481) or always failing transaction. Is it normal due to the current gas price? And do you know if I could do something to increase gas allowance?

This either means you can't perform that app installation, or we're messing up our transaction pathing. Were you able to perform that action on a previous version of the CLI?

I just learned from the Dandelion team that this is a known issue for for Dandelion DAOs: transaction path for Time Lock doesn't work well in the CLI, but apps can be installed using the experimental Aragon Client console.

Thanks anyway for replying !

To be more specific, this is because Time Lock forwarder requires a pre-transaction, and it is only supported by the wrapper, not the CLI.

Ah yes, pre-transaction support is something that's hard for the CLI to figure out—we just look at the ABI and tell you what functions are there. Without more user-defined logic or metadata, we can't tell that you want to do a token-approval first

Although the Github issue is closed, It seems that this problem still persists. I made an organization from https://rinkeby.aragon.org/#/, but, couldn't install the agent app by executing: dao install <your organization name> agent --environment aragon:rinkeby --ipfs-rpc https://ipfs.eth.aragon.network/ipfs/ following the tutorial here. I would always get the error "Cannot find a transaction path for executing action". The account invoking the transaction owns some tokens, and I imagine that CLI should be able to find a path to execute the command through voting. Am I missing something? After a while (maybe 30 minutes) I tried the same command and now it works. I am kind of confused about how transaction pathing works.

Hi , yes the aragonCLI currently has difficulty fetching information from the default Aragon Ethereum node. Could you try with an infura node with the following option?:
--ws-rpc wss://rinkeby.infura.io/ws/v3/<id>

Ran it multiple times. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't (seems random).

Thanks, I'm going to have a look at this. What version of the CLI are you using?
