How to configure extra_hosts in batect

I have to pass some extra_host details to the build container in batect. When using docker compose we can use extra_hosts to pass these configurations. Is there a way to do the same in batect? Host details I need to pass are configured in /etc/hosts file.

Anchors, aliases, and includes

tl;dr: It seems like I can't define an anchor in one YAML file, and then refer to it from an alias in a different file. Is this meant to work? I have a bunch of containers that share a lot of config, so I've extracted out the common bit into a YAML anchor: Then my containers all…

Workflows for making changes across multiple repos?

We have our main repo that we work on, for which we define a batect container that mounts the source code, and then we run various tasks (build, test, run) against the source. We also have a bunch of dependencies, which we mostly run from pre-built images. Sometimes though, we…

Request for comment: volume mounts for caches
