Original order issue
March 17, 2021 at 11:23pmOriginal order issue
March 17, 2021 at 11:23pmIt seems that the "original" order option assigns values in the list in the opposite order they were entered. So if I was populating a column in a data table, the last item in the Content Reel list would be assigned to the top row in the data table column.
Is this intentional?

I think this has to do with the way Figma orders auto-layout children "backwards"—last ones in the list on top, so they overlap the previous ones if applicable. I think Content Reel applies them in original order, it's just that the layer order is actually reversed from what one might expect it to be.
However, since I don't think Figma is keen on changing that any time soon, perhaps it would be cool for Content Reel to have an "Original (reverse)" order option.
