It seems I also found a weird way to submit unicode as-is using standard browser functionality (tested on #46), but without getting confetti :) probably it's fair, because it's still a terrible cheating... :)

So tempted to post a 125-char solution to #14 this way... :)

BTW, isn't this the secret of the 58-char solution for #13? :)

I thought the same for #13, but then thought about #34. So I think not.
For me, it's just a matter of time for unicode as-is solutions to be approved (from UI). Well, I hope so...

There might be a minor problem with unicode as-is that, prior to that, "X char solution" and "X byte solution" where synonymous, while after it they would become different things. And in code golfing it's often bytes that counts. Wouldn't this eventually require making the scoring algorithm more complex, e.g. splitting the char counter and byte counter into separate metrics?

Maybe we should start a dedicated topic about posting unicode as-is?

Browser console helps to find out this hack

Now, I'm sad I can't even cheat on #13. My solution doesn't involve unicode :)

Well, mine technically kinda does... but it can't be shortened using this hack :) Although I had a longer solution than can (but only to the same 58 chars, which is not so interesting as setting a new record:)

congrats for finding the 130-char solution at #27! Do I understand it correctly that it would become 125 chars once the decision about Unicode solutions is made? :)

Thanks. Yes, I think so :)

Wow, shorter solution for #10 😲 congrats, !

Yes. I was stuck at 208 chars for a long time, and you three were at 197. So I looked again, improve my current solution, and find one character shorter. :)

Just noticed another Chrome change (since v81 I suppose). Backgrounds applied on html and body with margins at the same time no longer works (white stripe on margins). :/ (checked on #16, #29 at least)

My solution for #29 still works. My best solution for #16 seems to be kind of platform-specific (displays correctly in 's preview, but incorrectly in both Windows and Mac desktop Chromes), but it was so at the time I first submitted it (last autumn).

Oops, now I see this, too (maybe this update came to me later?..). I believe it's clearly a bug, if the height of html is not considered zero and there is a background set to it, this background should be displayed. I don't see any justification for not displaying it even in the Quirks mode standard

congrats for the series of new records! You are still on fire on the whole 10th Battle :) Also, I'm curious about your solution for #29 — was it about units or did you find something else?..

Thanks. :) Well, for #29, it's not about units. I manage to round one magic number, and other values fit by tweaking them a bit. Now, I'm curious about your solution ;)

Well, my solution was mostly the same, but that "tweaking of other values" included using one unit I never used before (all similar values in different units either didn't work or were longer:)
