Here's what's coming in 2020 ✨

January 7, 2020 at 9:36pm (Edited 3 years ago)
2019 was a great year for Divjoy. We launched to the public on Hacker News and had 15k people hit our site and over 5k people export codebases in a single day. We added support for Next.js and React Bootstrap. We added a bunch of new components to our library based on feedback. We launched again on Product Hunt. We won a $15,000 grant from Startup School to support Divjoy's development. Finally, in order to grow Divjoy into a sustainable business we started charging money for project export. It's $60 to export your codebase, which includes a full year of access so you can come back and change options or grab individual components as needed. We think this is a great deal given the amount of time Divjoy saves you. People are paying and the future is looking bright! Which leads me too...
🌈 What's in store for 2020:
  • Components, components, components! I’m going to be focused on expanded the selection of components for the next couple months. Things like user on-boarding flows, accounts settings pages, dashboards, activity feeds, dynamic CRUD interfaces, searchable content lists, and so on.
  • Single component export. You’ll be able to browse our component library and export single components to drop into an existing codebase. Right now Divjoy is optimized for people who need a full codebase, but we're going to make it an awesome resource for people who've already started and would like to just grab what they need.
  • We'll be adding Stripe integration so that your payment flow is fully functional out of the box. Divjoy will automatically export all the backend logic needed to charge cards and handle webhooks.
  • We’ve gotten a ton of requests for Material UI and rest assured it’s coming. If you'd like to help out with porting components and templates over to Material UI then I'd love to chat. Just reply to this email.
❤️ How you can help
  • Help spread the word. If you’ve got friends starting a new project soon let them know that Divjoy can save them a ton of time. You can even join our affiliate program and get $30 when someone you refer signs up.
  • Send me your feedback. What do you like and dislike about Divjoy? Respond to this email and let me know! Your feedback is crucial when it comes to building something great and saving you a ton of time on your next React project.
Be sure to follow Divjoy on Twitter if you'd like to stay up to date with everything we're doing.
I hope you have an awesome 2020 🌟
