Introducing Divjoy 2.0 🎉January 17, 2021 at 9:51pm (Edited 2 years ago)
Hey folks! I'm excited to announce that Divjoy 2.0 is live! Here's what's new:
Material UI integration Material UI is a React UI framework with a large library of components, excellent documentation, and well thought out theming system. I've rebuilt all the templates and components using Material UI and added some nice extras, including full dark-mode support. This has been the most requested feature and I'm really excited to get it in.
Dashboard with live data Divjoy now gives you a dashboard page with a data-driven component that can create, read, update, and delete data in your database (also know as CRUD). You can modify it your needs or simply use it as a reference as you work on your app. Try it out inside the Divjoy editor (it's fully functional and even persists data to the database). This is live for Material UI and will be coming next week for Bootstrap and Bulma.
Documentation Divjoy finally has a dedicated documentation page that includes all the integration guides, overview of the exported code, how to use routing, the useAuth hook, etc. I tried to get the main topics in for this launch, but I plan on expanding it rapidly over the next month. Let me know what you'd like to see!
Roadmap and changelog I've added a roadmap and changelog so that you can see what Divjoy features are landing and what's planned for the future.
Discord community I've added a members-only Discord community where you can share your projects, ask questions, and meet other Divjoy members. I'm really excited about this and have a lot planned, including monthly hackathons where people can team up and build fun stuff with Divjoy. Once you grab a Divjoy account we'll send you your special invite link. If you're already a customer just login, go the Divjoy homepage, and click the Discord link in the footer. Important: This will be replacing this forum, so please head over there instead of posting here. Eventually we'll be disabling this forum.
Happy coding! Gabe
