It would be helpful to have a ready-made customizable dashboard. In the long run I think this would encourage your customers to share their custom dashboards with the community. Seeing how your dashboard is interacting with your API's could serve as a real world example as well.

I'm sure it would be a time commitment to clean up code and such but overall I'd bet it would result in more customers. And it's easy to throw into a sales pitch.
