Hello ! Exercise 3.13 is simply an extension of 3.12, but for multiple words in a sentence. See for instance the instruction: 'To handle the rest of the words in a message, we can use exactly the same procedure. The posterior odds after one word, which you calculated in the previous exercise, will become the prior odds for the next word, and so on.'. This essentially means, that what we learned about one word with its posterior, we use it as prior knowledge when judging for the next word. Take for example how you would try to understand if an email is spam or not. If you saw a title written in full caps, it gives you the sense that something is off. Then you notice that the sender is unknown to you. Then you open the email and read how to win money! Each of these observations you make strengthen your initial suspicion that this is essentially a spam message. Hope this helps, good luck with the exercise! :)
