Base Layout

April 19, 2020 at 11:58pm
I realize that evergreen isn't responsive nor it it supposed to be. But I was wondering what exact layout (margin, padding, width, min width, max width, alignment, etc.) is used in the docs site such that elements don't collapse and break. What do you generally recommend?

Evergreen doesn't provide any responsive tools or APIs, but the web is responsive by default. We only make it non-responsive by adding custom css. For handling different screen types, sizes, or breakpoints I've used react-responsive in some projects and thought it worked quite well.
