Gradient rotation button is def neededJanuary 22, 2019 at 10:20pm (Edited 8 months ago)
Hey guys, I really think Figma should have all the basic functionality of Sketch; the app it is trying to improve upon.
That being said, the gradient rotation is not there and I have already lost 15 mins trying to solve its mystery. At this level, with a Saas app that can be updated at a moment's notice, I do not understand why this is not already here.
This is very basic stuff that a designer needs on a daily basis to be productive. I am considering Figma over Sketch but very simple things of this sort is a dealbreaker..

- Agree, it is silly not to exist. This should be easy to implement.
- I helped with an answer to this a while back.
- If you make a nice one in Figma, please post it. If you don't since this is going to keep coming up, tell me and perhaps I'll do it and make a demo out of it.
Hope this helps 'a little.'

You can rotate gradients but not by absolute values - click on the linear fill well and the handles will appear on the canvas and you can drag these around. Absolute parametric fill stops and rotations would be much better than the eyeball method, same for the scale tool. I think it depends on what you are using it for if it's a dealbreaker, if using it for flat design you don't use gradients much. But if trying to do illustration work it could well be.
