File transfer Frame.io --> Brightcove or Vice Versa?March 5, 2020 at 4:18am
Has anyone tackled this problem? I was coming up with blanks on my searches. Ideally, I'd just be able to publish to my company's studio account on Brightcove for final tagging and distribution. All, without having to reuploading.

Heya ! I'm pretty sure we've caught up on other channels already, but just for tracking + posterity:
This particular workflow hasn't been tackled yet! Technically speaking, this is a pretty straight-forward workflow, and comes up every so often. The best route forward for something like this is likely to be a small project for the Brightcove team, and if that's something that's in the cards for you, we'll happily pick up the phone on this end. :)

You could maybe create a Google Cloud function/AWS lambda that has a HTTP trigger and then wire that up to a custom action in Frame . Then using the frame api in the function get the s3 paths for the asset media to pass into brightcove. I have a similar workflow for another platform. I also use a google cloud function to upload into Frame from Cloud storage basically replicating what Zapier does from an S3 bucket, but quicker.
