June 14, 2020 at 6:18pmI recently had to find a way to create mobile apps for an already existing Gatsby web application. My solution was to use Capacitor, the spiritual successor of Apache Cordova and Adobe PhoneGap.
If you are facing a similar situation, let me share my step by step guide on how to do it with you: https://react-freelancer.ch/blog/build-mobile-apps-using-gatsby-and-capacitor

No, I mean actual mobile apps. My solution makes use of Capacitor, which enables to build native mobile apps from web apps. Check out https://capacitorjs.com/ for more information about how Capacitor works.

Not bad. This is a great idea by the way, and even for me, the person who understands nothing in the app development area, it seems a wonderful idea. To be honest, I am far from understanding how app development is working, but at the same time, I would like to emphasize that I would have never got the success I have now if there was not this company https://www.cubycode.com, that helped me develop my business app. Since then, we raised our sales more than twice, so it was a good idea to collaborate with CubyCode.
Thanks! Please make sure to leave a star if you like it: https://github.com/flogy/gatsby-starter-capacitor

What's a Gatsby app? Seriously the technologies are evolving with such significant steps that I can't keep track of them. For example, I recently found out that you can store your information on cloud storage. That's insane that I didn't know about this, and I am not even that old. Truth be told, I even started to read about the new technologies on https://morning.computer/, but still I am way behind. So guys, if there is someone who wants to give me a hand and enlighten me here, I will be grateful.
