Max โ€“ those tools are great, but we wanted more customization to create a site similar to Shopify's Polaris or Salesforce's Lightning Design System.

Playing around with Gatsby here (simple site) https://dev.line37.com uses gatsby-image plugin which automatically handles stuff like the blur up effect

https://mattbag.github.io/gatsby-wp/ demo with data pulled from wp (had an issue with offline plugin on build). https://mattbag.github.io/gatsby/ demo for my new portfolio layout (dom manipulating done the wrong way probably, but very nice learning experience).

futurebrilliant.team (with traced-svg). It's using styled-components and some of the css from sachagreif.com(which is also a gatsby site and where I first learnt about gatsby) - I believe speed is the future of web development. Still being built... as every website should be (never finished). Currently trying to remove the flash of duplicate keyframe animations on index.js. Hopefully by the time you read this it's resolved.

https://imagineclarity.com - entry point for our mindfulness meditation app. Under reconstruction but web app is quite active.
I don't yet know if the web app itself could migrate into this codebase or if Gatsby isn't a good fit. E.g. what if in the future our users generate data as well, or if there's too much data? Also don't know if Gatsby v2 would handle that better?
