Task & project management app

August 16, 2019 at 12:49pm
We're working on a big guide at the moment to help users build their own task management app. It's a big topic and covers a fair amount of advanced Glide/Sheets topics.
Here's a sneak peek at the functionality of the app so far. Any suggestions welcome!
One of the things I want to try and build is an 'Insights' area where it will show you stats on tasks completed this month, how close you are to the end of a task or project's due date (progress bar! ) and maybe even some charts. 🤓

at the moment I'm defaulting tasks to have a due date as the main important date, so the calendar can handle that. I use Todoist a lot so I was thinking along those lines - but you're right, projects usually have a duration, not just a due date.
The tasks are stamped with a 'created date' by a special value, so in future I guess you could show the length of each project and show the project's expected due date - but you'd need more chart functionality for that. As you know, at the moment, the calendar view doesn't support events crossing multiple days.

Would be great if the calendar view would support multiple days. Could use it for totally different reason. Feature Request!?
