This will be especially useful with forms. One of the all-times common google forms rant is lack of filtering on drop-downs.

Just to expand on this, I think search for long lists of choices is a great idea. For example, choices with lists of countries, regions etc can get very long. My question is at what number of choices should search appear - more than 10,15,20 items?

I've put this on our wishlist, a number of other people have been asking recently. Makes sense.
