Shared event handlers vs #when:do?

BrTextExpandButtonAttribute has two #when:do: handlers in #affect:in:. Would it make sense to use a shared event handler there instead of adding one to each instance? Or do I understand that wrong?

slow performance on macbook pro 2018 / core i7

I am running latest gtoolkit on my macbook and noticed that text input/clic reactions has a lag. maybe 300-400 ms between the actions and the reaction of the system. Wanted to make sure that it only lags on my laptop, on others it might work faster :)
