Inline JSX in MDX?

January 21, 2019 at 11:46am

I found this PR that adds support for inline JSX in MDX. Here are code samples. It's exactly what I've been hoping for!

But the PR is in the remark-mdx package, which isn't published to npm. Does anybody know what the plan is for the remark-mdx package? Will it eventually be published to npm and/or used in the mdx-js/mdx package?

I guess my real question is... when will I be able to actually use this awesome new functionality in my MDX?

@jamesmessinger improved inline JSX parsing is a feature that will be in 1.0 https://github.com/mdx-js/mdx/pull/451 You can try it out in the 1.0 alpha releases now and in the stable 1.0 release when it becomes available.
