Headless mode

February 26, 2020 at 12:26pm (Edited 5 months ago)
Not sure if this was already asked, at least wasn't able to find the discussion on that. Is there a way to run mockoon in headless mode? The scenario is following:
  1. I want to test my service and mock external api
  2. I use UI to design the mock and export it as a file
  3. In CI environment I run mock as a container (mounting config file to it) and it behaves as external service
  4. No real API call though the tests are passing, profit!

Hi this was asked several times. There is an issue opened on GitHub that you can upvote (it asks for a CLI if I remember correctly).

In any case, this is not on the roadmap yet. It's a lot of work, but was asked many times so it will happen one day for sure. Probably as a completely separated application/project (npm package).
