Question about UX/UI & bug report

May 30, 2019 at 3:35pm

Where do we mention these?

In the meantime, I noticed this thing:

Simply to mention that unlike most of the app out there, you are using size (1,2,3,4...) where the size 1 is the smaller instead of being the bigger... I'm not sure in term of UX on this aspect since this is confusing https://jmp.sh/U5NKhZI

Hey Catherine,

Thanks for the feedback, cool to see you playing around :)

If you double-click your Text, the editor will open. You can then rename your variants in the left sidebar to any order or scale you prefer.

I'm curious which design systems or apps use an inverse scale like you mentioned? I'm not too familiar with it.

For sure I'l be playing with this app because there is a lot of potential there!!!

And about my point: This is great to know, thanks! Still that by default, I strongly suggest the opposite size naming. Also, maybe the edit button should also be in the sidebar: https://jmp.sh/0uAcalb

We will think about this. Eventually, we will use whatever naming Radix (our own component library) uses. Maybe @peduarte has some thoughts there?

I love this idea. Gonna ship this soon, thanks!

I'll add that standard HTML / CSS headers use an inverse scale. H1 is largest.
