Mushr car global planner issue

February 18, 2021 at 12:47pm
i have installed pyplusplus pygccxml with the command : sudo -H pip3 install -vU pygccxml pyplusplus
I have this error when i want to install ompl with this command ./ --python :
-- The following Python modules were found:
pyplusplus pygccxml -- Configuring done -- Generating done -- Build files have been written to: /home/robot/ompl-1.5.2/build/Release Python binding generation is very memory intensive. At least 6GB of RAM is recommended. Proceeding with binding generation using 1 core... make: * No rule to make target 'update_bindings'. Stop.
Can you please help me to handle this ?

Hey (diengoumar) I will warn you this tutorial/global planner is a bit problematic to work with. We have plans of upgrading or replacing it with something more stable and easy to install. That being said, I'll try my best to help here. It looks like you installed pygccxml and pyplusplus with pip3 whereas this system requires python2 (pip2). Also just to confirm, did you change the python setting from 3 to 2.7 in the script And finally, are you installing on a jetson nano or a desktop?

(matt-schmittle) Thank you for responding, I use a jetson nano and I use pip for python =2.7 and also when I put python - version I have 2.7.

Hey so sorry for the delayed response. For some reason I didn't get the notification. did you get the same error when you ran sudo -H pip2 install -vU pygccxml pyplusplus (note the change from pip3 to pip2)?

Thank you for your answer.
It seems to be working, but i decided to restart because of dependencies issues.
