Need help: How do I run compass with sass?

October 8, 2018 at 9:22pm
Hi,
I'm compiling my CSS using sass (.scss). I would like to use the inline-image function provided by compass (http://compass-style.org/). How do I import compass to my parcel project?
I can see that SASS is looking for .sassrc config file (https://github.com/parcel-bundler/parcel/blob/master/src/assets/SASSAsset.js), but there's no documentation on this so I'm not sure how to do it. I've tried using "compass" but that doesn't work either.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

Figured out a workaround for anyone else interested in doing this. Install https://github.com/borodean/postcss-assets
Then set the .postcssrc to
{
"plugins": {
"postcss-assets": true
}
}
Now you can use
background-image: inline('../path/to/image/example.png');
