I joined the community to learn more about Polarr, share ideas, methods and the results of our use of Polarr.March 25, 2019 at 12:31pm
I used to use only PS/LR for many years. Then along came PS CC. However I found that carrying around a PC all the time was cumbersome and I was tired of fighting all the update issues. I switched over to iOS only using iPad Pro and discovered Polarr. After spending a lot of time getting to know Polarr and using it now for 2+ years, I have completely moved away from all other photo editors. Polarr is my single use photo post processing software. The iOS version on my iPad Pro is superb! I practice a lot of various forms of photography but mostly astrophotography. I have found that Polarr excells at bringing out the details and color of these photos. The single largest task for these photos is removing the light pollution from city lights and I have found that Polarr is simple, quick and very efficient in removing light pollution. The difference between pre and post processed photos is significant in quality. With the iPad Pro I control the camera, download and process with Polarr all at the same time. It does not get better than that. I hope to share and learn from others here and maybe help in making Polarr even better than it is today.
