Is this graph correct?

I designed this income overtime graph. Does this make sense ? or should I switch to a different graph? https://imgur.com/a/HGUHvgY

Looks very clear and scaleable. For instance you could add a dimension for year where you compare multiple years. Or a line that shows outside economic forces relative to income.

I think it can by simpler. you don't need the color filling, you can drop the average on the drawing itself ( that will make it easy to compare)
