Hype new React API is being shown by Dan Abramov at JSConf Iceland—let's watch it together!

Dan Abramov and the other folks at Facebook have been hyping up a new React API they developed, but they haven't talked said what it's about at all. Dan's giving a talk at JSConf Iceland about that in one hour and thirty minutes, and it's being livestreamed!
Let's watch it together:
I'm so pumped, I can't wait to see what they've been working on!

I don't know the React source code well enough to know what that PR does though 🙈
I didn't know there was a live stream! Thank you for telling us. I think they will show some cool async rendering patterns.

According to the schedule Dan's talk is second...so wouldn't that be another hour and 40?
Looking at that PR, they're adding a new <React.Timeout> component!

oh damn, is it? I thought it was 10am my time, which is in 40 minutes
can't wait to see how its used
Wowww what do you think that does?
<React.Timeout duration={1000} callback={() => console.log('a second later')} />
(that's 100% not it haha)
Hahah. I'm seeing references to props.ms and props.children, so it seems to enable (or block?) some cool asynchronous behavior for your child components
guessing it is somewhat related to async stuff
"Hey folks, we know how much you love components soooo.. We made EVERYTHING components!"

😂
well hey, some people really love that! React Router has a <Match> component which is basically an if statement in JSX
Did you guys listen to mjackson's react podcast last night? Dan didn't say much but small hints
