colorize a group of elements in 1 clickJune 13, 2019 at 6:23am
Hi! is there a way to colorize, for example, an icon that has multiple elements grouped together without shift clicking each small piece or selecting them via layers? Any plugin available?

I don't know a one click solution but by holding CMD while making a rectangular selection you select all parts of a group. That way you'd only need to change the colour/border once for all elements.
Thanks! That's the fastest solution. Even if you have to drag the icon outside the artboard change it e take it back in position because usually . You don't have this problem?
I would make a combined shape out of all pieces. They don’t have to overlap for that to work, and then you would have only one layer to color.
Thanks that's a good one too.

For Icons specifically I combine the shape of my icon and mask a colour symbol into it (just a rectangle layer with a colour applied). Then when I need to change the colour of any icon I've created I just use the override panel, if I need another colour I duplicate my existing colour symbol and change the colour of the rectangle in it.
