Home / Office Chair

August 19, 2017 at 2:06pm
Anyone have any recommendations for a great chair that's not going to cost me an arm and a leg? I've just recently taken a remote job, so I'd like to get a great seat I can be comfortable in.

I'm in the same boat. Went remote 5 months ago, been sitting in a crappy chair since. I've heard that used Herman Miller or Steelcase chairs are the way to go for a nice chair w/out breaking the bank. Seems like they go for $300-500. I've been meaning to pull the trigger but haven't yet.

I haven't spent more than $300 on a chair. But of all I've had, this one is at the top of my list (https://www.amazon.com/Fuego-Multi-Function-Super-Task-Chair/dp/B002VKP700/ref=cm_cr_arp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8) and the IKEA Markus on a close second place (the cloth-cheaper version not the leather one).

I tried out a bunch recently, and I'd personally choose the Mirra 2 over an Aeron.

The Aeron feels like i'm sitting in a Michael Bay SFX scene, the Mirra 2 feels like a chair

Because of gamers a lot of things changed since I was a kid. On market, there are a ton of gaming chairs. From cheap and chunky with unbreathable imitation of leather to expensive ones like Herman Miller. I passed through an electronic magazine and saw a lot of chairs from different brands. If you started a remote job, a gaming chair could serve as well. Just the word "office" in the chair name makes it more expensive. You just have to pick one that fulfills your necessities. And believe me, you have options : https://topgamingchair.com/best-gaming-chairs-you-can-buy/
