Debugging : Hide unwanted portion that is shown while mouse-hover over a variable

February 10, 2020 at 12:42pm (Edited 3 years ago)
Hi all, I'm using the debug adapter plugin as per instructions here: https://github.com/eclipse/theia-generator-plugin. I'm able to perform debug operations (start, step over, step into, stop etc.).
In the method MockDebugSession.evaluateRequest, I'm returning the value of the variable as a formatted string. This shows the value in the popup that is shown when i mouse-hover over a variable.
But, the popup window looks huge and only the topmost line is useful for me. How to hide the bottom portion of the popup window?
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like a bug, could you share the screenshot or file an issue with steps to reproduce please?
Thank you !
I have added an issue : https://github.com/eclipse-theia/theia/issues/7120. Also, modified the title of this thread.
