Arpeggio is a pattern that is mapped to the chords to generate actual note pitches. It could not be generated from a chord.
When you on the chordtrack and prelisten a chord and insert it.I would like to have the option to insert it as notes in e.g. the arpeggio track
The thing is, there are not any actual notes in the arpeggio track. There are only rows. I you want to just repeat a simple arpeggio pattern along the chord sequence, use loop events https://tunemaker.app/manual/docs/sectionView#loop-events
I find it pretty good the way it is - because you can easily change the arp notes as you like - and the loop option is great - you can limit that e.g. to 3 bars and have a different one at the end - that makes it quite interesting without much effort.
Nevertheless a randomizer (as suggested earlier already) would be a nice extension though
Step by step I try to understand the intended workflow behind the app. At the moment I’m recording with a bluetooth midikeyboard and it opens a new world of possibilities. To speed up recording and editing multiple arpeggio/melody and drums tracks I suggest moving the selection of these tracks like this:
