403 for uploaded videos

November 19, 2020 at 3:35pm (Edited 2 months ago)
Hi!
I recently deployed my first Twill project to a staging server. I can upload videos and images fine, but videos are not displayed correctly. This has not been an issue in local development. The link to the video gets output as "example.com/storage/uploads/b3bbd01a-a75f-4bc9-88a6-d943aa59ad8b/SampleVideo_360x240_5mb.mp4" -> is this correct or should the URL be different? Or would this error be a permission issue?
Thanks in advance!

Did you do the storage symlink? Im thinking the php artisan storage:link command.

Turned out it was indeed an issue with the symlink with the storage. I defined the path to the storage incorrectly :) Thank you for your help anyway!
