I see what you’re saying but it’s still a waste of money for me. I’ve deleted the app.

That's ok JJ, it seems it wasn't going to be of any value to you regardless. Thank you for trying it out! 💪⚡️

Regarding location specific exercises, I say phooey! If I’m sitting ANYWHERE, I use exercises and routines for cafe, work, living room, bedroom... I know these all well enough now, that I can put together something that fits my current location. You are not limited by which location the exercise comes from.
I prefer the subscription model used by Agenda.... Buy the program, receive one year’s of updates. Pay no more unless you like the new updates you’ve missed whereby you can buy it again and get annual updates again. Then you own what you have. Your subscription is similar, but I really can’t afford to pay a full annual subscription at your current asking price. I’ll worry about working without Wakeout when that time comes.

Thanks for your feedback ! I actually use it like this too! I've done the cafe exercises on a plane for example. However, there are location-specific advantages that allow for creative exercises. See the Beach Wakeouts, or the Bed Wakeouts for example. In a couple of weeks, we're releasing the Car Wakeouts which will fully illustrate just how cool it is when exercises are designed with the location in mind.
We're not making the claim that you can't do a "Work" exercise at home. But it's pretty fun to do exercises that take advantage of the environment and understand space restraints of each locale.
I'm aware of Agenda's subscription model. It's an interesting one for sure. We're very open to new suggestions and are constantly evaluating how we can do something that's sustainable for everyone.
Thanks as always for your feedback Jeanne! Keep it coming!

I just started my free trial and am LOVING the app! Question: Is there an About or Our Story page anywhere on your site? I can’t seem to find one. 🤔 I’d love to read the Wakeout team’s origin story!

Hi!! So happy you're enjoying it, and a ton of new stuff coming soon (we're shipping about 6 updates per month!).
I love the idea of sharing our origin story. Both me and my co-founder are quite nutty about staying active and healthy. My co-founder even gets into "experimental" areas with his health and fitness with some interesting results. I'll write one and post it on the website sometime soon!
Please let us know if you have any ideas on how we can do better!

Super! I can’t wait to read it! I signed up for the newsletter... is there also a blog? Sorry, I’m on my phone and sometimes mobile sites don’t agree with my screen so I can’t navigate properly.

Thank you for reporting this! It's a bug that we got with our currency conversion to the pound. It's showing up as 85% when the introductory offer is 50%. A few more people from the UK reported this, and we're working to understand what's causing the bug. It's showing up correctly in all other territories.
Very very sorry about this!

Wakeout takes up a lot of space on my iPad. Data takes up 373.8 mb. I’m sure you tossed around the idea of using gif instead of video. I’m just curious. If I were to delete the videos held with the app in Settings > IPad Storage > Wakeout for exercises I’m unable to do because of physical limits, will it damage the app in any way?

Alrighty! Tested on various devices and it doesn't seem to be any issue with deleting the downloaded exercise videos! We've made a note to add better file size management in the near future. You're good to delete any video content as you see fit! ⚡️

Hello! I was wondering how the weekly reports are calculated? If each Wakeout is 30 seconds, shouldn’t the total activity be twice that number? This morning the notification stated my total activity is 1172 total Wakeouts and 730 active minutes.

😎Hi! So in this case, "Wakeouts" are total "routines." Routines can either be of 1, 3 or 5 exercises in length. So it's possible that you'd do one "Wakeout" worth 2.5 active minutes (a long routine). You think this is the best way to calculate this? Or you'd prefer that each individual exercise is counted? (meaning, if you do a long routine, then we'd count 5 wakeouts).

Thanks. It’s a portion of Melissa S. McCracken’s “To the Moon and Never Back.” Don’t need to change what you’re doing. Now that I understand “Wakeouts” mean routines, I get it. I already know how to count actual exercises, since you give me total minutes. I was confused. Never mind.
