Hey, thanks for joining! I'm happy to accept pull requests. Note that adding a new formatting style to zefyr at this point is not a simple task. I have a plan to refactor zefyr to expose an API that allows adding custom styles, and zefyr 0.7 is the first step towards this goal. That said zefyr is not quite there yet.
We need to talk a bit more about this toggle, so that I understand your idea better. Let's create a dedicated post continue discussion there.

Hi what is the license for this widget component?

Hi! How can I use any of the Zefyr text styling on my Text widgets. I tried adding ZefyrTheme.of(context) but this requires ZefyrEditor. I don’t want an editor, only the text styling

Could some of the contributors finally react to this:

Hey does it work with flutter web?

Right now I'd say Zefyr may compile for web but experience would be poor because it lacks support for some desktop-specific inputs - mouse and keyboard shortcuts won't work. I've also had occasional errors pop up during editing. There are some good news though as I finally got around to address that, but also fix some long standing issues in the rendering layer. There will be an update in a few weeks, so stay tuned. I already have added better support for keyboard and mouse and it's looking good so far.
It wasn't even loading for me. I got this error during runtime
unimplemented error platform targetplatform.widows not implemented
I did have some success a while back, haven't tried it recently though.
Mate I've to implement it like today as im working on a flutter web project. Do you have any alternatives in mind coz I found nothing
But yeah, I wouldn't recommend trying to use it for web in it's current state.
I haven't seen any other rich text editors for Flutter yet. It depends on your needs, really.
I need to have the basic markdown implementations like bold, italics, underline along with H1, h2 and so on if possible
If you need basic inline styling like bold and italic text you may be able to get away with a solution on top of this
does it provide an editor like widget and custom options for style toggles?
nope, this example only shows how to add custom styling to the standard Flutter's input field. You'll need to implement actual logic for applying styles and come up with a format to store this information (could probably use Deltas as well, but may be better to use something simpler).
As I said I will have an update in a few weeks to Zefyr which should improve situation with web platform among other things.
Alright thank you! I wish I could wait for your update but I have a deadline sadly. Cheers

Hi! (pulyaevskiy). Does Zefyr supports flutter web now?

There is new version in the works which works better on the Web. See details in That said, Flutter for Web itself is missing a few key features, in particular proper rendering of rich text. This makes current experience quite a bit broken. We probably need to wait until the Flutter team lands their engine refactoring to CanvasKit

Glad to hear that! Thanks for the heads up!
