These permissions seem very heavy handed. I would have liked to read the announcement before being asked for these permissions without any context.

I want to know too. It is legit but I want to know what kind of new features are coming our way.

Yeah that's a little scary. I think even if it enhanced my experience 10 fold I would be very reluctant to accept them. I might trust Zeit to do the right thing by them, but if they were breached or something...yikes
